Has anyone had problems with charger stopping after running for 15 minutes or the charger will stop at 25% with the red light flashing ? I walk away to carry on with my yard work to come back and find the charger has stopped. This has happened the last two times I mowed and I have to take the battery out and put it back in and then it starts charging again.
Called customer service this morning regarding this issue as well as issue with short battery run times. He "troubleshooted," which consisted of putting the battery in the charger , and since the light was green, he said it was working fine. In my opinion, something is not fine since it wasn't doing this before. Nothing got resolved as far as I'm concerned. The only suggestion he made as to short battery time was to take the mower in to Home Depot for servicing. Unfortunately, my local HD doesn't service them and it would need to be sent out just to look at the mower to see if there's an issue with it. As of now, I have no idea if there is or not or if it's the battery or the charger.
Battery is running shorter and shorter times (only 1 year old) and taking me twice as long to mow. Agent thinks it's because grass is thick, so shorter run time. Can't see buying another battery for $300 when i can buy a new lawn mower for that price. Into my fourth season and Not sure if I'll be buying another one of these if it only works with a thin lawn. Needless to say, I'm a little frustrated since this is in the middle of the growing season.
