I have a series 1400 chainsaw that I think is about 2 years old. I use it 3-5 minutes/ month. The battery won't take a charge. I love the saw and use it in my shop when turning wood objects.  How do I tell if the battery is weak or there is some other problem?

Do you have another Ego tool to try it in? If not, will the Saw run at all? If so, try depleting the battery fully and charging again. If that fails to get the battery working it's time for a call to Customer Service. Batteries have a 3 year warranty.

Jeff, glad it was just the kickback brake and that this could be so easily resolved. :-)
