Can you fix a defective battery?

I purchased a mower, trimmer, and leaf blower at the same time, probably three years ago. I registered the batteries and chargers but when I check my account, it says I have no warranties. Last week, all three batteries were fine. Today I tried to use one of the 2.0 AH batteries in the mower and it only ran about three minutes before it went red. When I put it on the charger, it goes to blinking red, which means it is defective. Is there anything I can do with the battery to fix it? I would hate to buy a new one if there is something that can be done to make this one work because three years on a battery isn't very long. I would hate to have to spend $700 to replace all three of my batteries if they're all going to die soon.

No Warranties on your account can easily be verified by calling Customer Service, as the same occurred to me as well.  That said; I believe you are still within the window of a 3 Year Limited Warranty.  Make sure you call Customer Service at the beginning of the day, to decrease wait time on the phone.  As to fixing the battery, most of the time, EGO will replace your battery if it is "defective."
