Can the Ego 14" Electric Chainsaw cut wood? Yes! and much bigger than some claim.

Performs better than my similar size gas saw

Firewood cut with EGo Electric chainsaw 14" Aug-Sept. 2017
Yes! This blade will cut! even 24" trees that would normally be way too big.

Performs better than my similar size gas saw. Love to just push the button and go, no fussing with it every time like a gas motor.

Shares the same battery with EGo Lawn Mower and WeedWacker for easy swap n go.

Went through two chains to cut this stack, but quite impressed.
Paid for itself first season!

Check out this stack of wood cut with it on youtube link below.

"Performs better than my similar size gas saw"    You CAN'T be serious.  I've used gas units and I have the 14" EGO.  It has a very low chain speed, a narrow chain, and bogs down (actually STOPS) unless I put on a 7.5Ah battery.   With a 2.0 it's useless.

Dave, are you saying that Ego's 14" battery chainsaw is inferior to every 14" gas chainsaw ever made?

Amber, be that as it may, it's still is ridiculous to claim that the 14"  EGO CS is equivalent in power to any number of gas powered CS's.   C'mon!!  Let's be real.

Dave
Could you post the exact same opinion 3 or 4 more times.  It is oh so insightful and very helpful too.

So what you're saying, Dave, is that your opinion matters but others' do not. That sounds typical.

Do you just lurk around here waiting to pounce on any positive comment?
