With the 15Ah snowblower kits sold out I fail to see the humor?

Come on HD, you should have had more stock than what it took to get through one storm...

I wanted the 7.5ah kit, just wasn't willing to open my wallet for close to a grand.

It's a tough call... I as i assume most people here bit the bullet....was to avoid the mess and hassel of gas and oil , noise , pollution, fumes maintenance etc.... but for a couple hundred more you get a beast like this. I have both to be prepared for anything and to make sure I don't let my customers down. If you don't usually get more then 8-10" of snow then the ego will fit like a glove. Unfortunately the last two winters have shown otherwise...that's when the big boys come out to play.

The EGO will do fine for my home use in Minnesota, but when buying battery powered tools I try to get the best batteries, like my drills, impact gun, impact driver.

I got the 5.0ah Ego blower, if I was going to spend 800$ plus tax, I would have definitely went gas is all I'm saying.

Good to know it'll be one less person calling ego how the blower "doesn't work"  when it gets shoved into a mountain of 15+ inches of snow....the man knows what he's talking about... cheers for that!

I love it, especially the color RED!!!!!  I don't have an EGO snow blower yet, as I still have my old Sears Craftsman 26" gas snow blower.  It's loud but get the job done whenever I have over 6" of snow (wet or dry snow) - nothing stands in its way.
