Can My Mower Handle a Bumpy Yard?

I am thinking of buying this mower to replace my 15 year old gas mower that didn't start for the first time. My yard is not very smooth. It is a bit of a bumpy mow. Would that be an issue for this mower over time?

I have a couple of rough areas in my backyard and it hasn't been an issue for me. I've been using an EGO mower since April.

Look at it this way: Home Depot has a 90-day return policy, so you can always try it out and exchange it for something else if it doesn't work for you.

I have a very bumpy yard.  This has been my second season with the EGO mower, and I love it.  With regard to the bumpiness, the only issue I encountered was late in my first season:  The security latch on the folding handle will cause the mower to stop running if it becomes disengaged.  This happened to me.  Eventually I just grabbed a bungy cord and wrapped around the handle at that point.  (I never fold mine up anyway.)  That took care of the problem.  I've been mowing that way ever since.
Yes I have problems on a smooth surface. Even more if you have burmuda grass

Parts of my yard are bumpy, and I have bermuda... as long as you keep a sharp blade there shouldn't be any problems.

The only thing to be careful about with a bumpy yard is that you don't cut so low that you scalp the ground when a wheel hits a divot.

I have thick level bermuda in my back yard and really bumpy fescue in the shady front. My Ego mower does great on both. The only issue I have with the mower is the left clip on the handle. I have to periodically reach down and close it. That happens in both yards. The bumpy-ness does not seem to be an issue.

Contact Ego customer service for a pair of redesigned clamps. That should take care of the problem.
