The power drive on my lawn mower will only work on full speed. Even when moving the handle, it only runs at full speed. Any ideas on how to fix this?

This will require a repair. Depending on how critical the SP feature is to you, you may want to have it fixed during an off-season period as the repair process takes a few weeks.

Give Ego Customer Service a call and they’ll get you fixed up.

Sounds like a faulty controller. You will need to call customer service.

They can be reached at 1-855-EGO-5656 (1-855-346-5656) from 8:30AM - 8:00PM EST (Monday - Friday) & 10:00AM - 6:00PM EST (Saturday & Sunday).

Call first thing in the morning to minimize any wait.  Or leave a call back number if you are unable to stay on hold.

I experienced this same thing a couple of weeks age.  I called customer service and only waited about 5 seconds for someone (Joe) to pick up the line.  You will need to be near your mower when you call.  I explained that my speed control did not work and my mower only moved at the fast speed.
We went through a few simple diagnostic tests and service determined that it was due to a problem with my mower. I got very good service from Ego. If you get the same service I did, you will be very happy with the result!

It was determined that the speed control was defective. Solution - they replaced the mower.
