Bought the mower at an auction and it doesn’t have a battery. Also is the mowers spot for the battery supposed to have 3 metal prongs or 4?

3 prongs in the tools is normal.

Looks like you’ll be shopping for a battery! :-)

look at the prices for the batteries and charger. a 7.5 batt and charger by themselves costs as much as a new lawnmower with batt and charger included. only home depot and Ego sell these as far as i know

Kits are a great deal for sure.
HD and other authorized dealers sell Ego tools and equipment.

Batteries are currently on sale at HD, although the kits still are the better deal by far

The 7.5 Ah battery is too expensive. The 5.0 Ah is about half as much and seems to be the sweet spot.

Currently $199 5.0 and $299 7.5 at HD so they are getting better

Their store locator seems to be for stick and brick buildings. Might be also nice to know which online retailers there are. I know of Grainger and RCPW. Well, Amazon too. Of course, HD online. Must be more. Maybe a new link on the site to finding online stores?

What about it Amber? Can you guys come up with a complete list of authorized retailers, online and in store? A complete list of authorized service centers would be great also. Pretty Please. Steve
