Blade high lift "wings"

I've been using blade wings on my gas mower for years. They definitely improve the vacuum of what was already very good. The discharge bag remains inflated, err...very firmly. I was wondering if such a modification would void the EGO warranty. (Not to mention the possibility of shrapnel if these things ever came off at speed.)  I really don't want to get into a gas vs battery conversation.

Here is what they look like. The blade comes pre-drilled with the correct mounting holes.

Are you thinking this would be better than the high lift blade EGO already offers?
Run time is somewhat impacted by the high lift blade so I'm sure that would be something to consider going in this direction. And, yes, it's very likely using this on an EGO would void the warranty.

If you are wanting this type of a modification, why not just use the Ego HL blade ?

Wings are not quite as large, but engineered to work with the Ego mowers and won't void the warranty.
