Ok, this is sort of odd. I am using the larger 30 minute charger. I am pulling my batteries out at 50% charge until they are needed! then I charge them up. When I pull the batteries out of the charger, the led on the batteries go solid red. They go out after a short, and when I push it to check the battery, it is green and no issue that I can see. Is this normal?

Good question.  We'll check into that and get back to you.

IMHO don't pull the battery until it is fully charged.  If your battery has set for a long time (say a month or two) then put it back in the charger to top it off before use. Also don't store you battery outside or in a vehicle. I always charge and store my batteries at around 72 degrees F.
