Battery Will Not Charge

I have the largest 56V battery, that came with my mower, and after use today it is not charging.  I plugged in the charger, it did the little fan whirl and self-test, and then I placed the battery in: The indicator on the charged showed ~25%, which is typical after mowing for me, but when it just showed full green bars and did nothing.  There were no error or warning lights- it just acted like it was done charging even though it hadn't done a thing. I've only used the mower about half a dozen times, and bought it back in late May. Any guidance?

Unplug your charger and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then try again. My charger gets stuck (if you can call it that) every now and again. This works for me

If the battery is almost fully charged, it won't attempt to top it off. But has to be roughly 90% charged for this to happen.

But if it's close to 90% charged why would only the 25% light light up on the charger at first when he placed the battery on it? Is that how the charger's diagnostic cycle works? One would think, if battery were close to full, that the charger would reflect that right away and not display 25% before displaying full. (Not talking about when plugging in the charger, but after he placed the battery on the charger.)
Daniel, is this the first time it's done this since you bought the mower? Assuming you've put the battery on the charger before and it didn't do this.
Also, you don't need to charge after every mow. I tend to run the battery to red, basically 3-4 mows, before I charge mine.
