Battery problems using battery link

I just purchased the battery link and am using it with my blower. I have both the 2.5 and the 5.0 amp batteries. When I used the large one, the battery shuts down after about 25 seconds (using my blower) which normally means the battery needs to be charged. Yet when I put it in the rapid charger, it shows fully charged. I used this battery in the blower a few days ago before I got the battery link and had no problems. I did try using the smaller battery with the battery link and had no problems. Anyone have a suggestion about what is wrong?

I am curious, what is this battery "link" that you are talking about?  I have not heard of this before.

OK now I've got it.  It BACKPACK Link.  The term 'battery link' did not ring a bell.
Thanks.

Lonnie, did you try the 5ah battery again in the blower after trying the link? Since the 2.5 ah battery worked in the link, maybe the 5 ah has failed for some reason.

Does the 5.0 currently work when placed directly in the blower.
Are you certain the battery is installing properly.
