This isn't a bad idea.  It would be a low drain device, thus the smallest battery would work perfectly.  Even I would use this.  I don't like pump sprayers.

Milwaukee just announced an 18V sprayer, though it’s aimed more at concrete guys and contractors. An Ego version of this would be awesome!
