Will a 56V 2.0ah EGO battery turn the motor of your 21" self propelled lawn mower? I am being told by a seller that it will not work.

My 2.5ah battery worked fine, just less run time than higher amp hour battery. Same 56v.

It will work just fine. The run time will be significantly less than a larger capacity battery but all Ego batteries are fully interchangeable

Yes, but not advised, this will caused a overload problem, and will deplete the battery life, then you will be buying two batteries. eBay has decent prices for a replacement battery.

I use a 2.0 Ah battery to mow my front lawn frequently, including thick zoysia grass, and overloading isn't a problem.

If not advised, why does EGO make it clear that all their batteries work in all their tools?

Where in print in a your operating manual by Ego that they makes it clear that all batteries are interchangeable that won’t void your warranty?

YES - All ego batteries work in all ego tools.  As Chris said the only difference will be the run time.  The seller is mistaken.

Only the Snow blower comes with the recommendation of using minimum two 4.0 batteries for optimum performance.

Thank you very much for confirming my feeling about this issue. I too have a weed eater and trash blower that are awesome! That is why I decided to invest in the mower.
