We are considering an Ego mower and I thought I'd read somewhere that Home Depot has an annual sale on them, maybe in the spring? I would appreciate any information or insight.

Thanks!

EGO doesn't announce sales ahead of time. All you can do is watch the ads and this forum in case someone might post a sale they've seen. Given there is a new 2 blade mower from EGO maybe they will have an early season sale. Just have to wait and see.

HD has periodic sales.  Ace also sales ego mowers now.

There is no marked annual sale date.  Best way to find the sales is check HD website daily for their daily sales and/or stay on this site as someone usually shares sale info here.

3-24-20 Update to my original post:

Our local Home Depot has had several Ego mowers on sale recently, including the LM2142SP at $599 ($150 off) and just today the LM2135SP at $599 ($50 off). The models on sale, the amount of the discount, and the availability have all been changing from day to day, so it has required taking a look every day.

I had already pulled the trigger on an LM2135SP a week and a half ago, but I emailed with HD Customer Care beforehand and they told me they have a price adjustment policy for 90 days after the sale. So today I sent in a request for a refund in the amount of $50 (+tax) on my LM2135SP. Hopefully that will go through without problems.

We really like a lot of Home Depot's policies. When we bought our patio table and chairs set from them we got them on some early season sale. By the end of the season they were clearing out excess summer inventory and our set was half the price we paid for it (tells you about mark up in stores. Topic for another day.) We thought, let's go down to Home Depot and say we can return our patio set and then buy the new one for half price. Home Depot said, let us refund your money on the first one and then we'll sell it to you at half price. Worked out really well and we didn't have to schlep that table and chairs to Home Depot.

Well, I just hit a bump in the road with Home Depot on my price adjustment request. They tell me that since I ordered online but picked up the mower in store, I have to return to the store for my price adjustment to be processed. I replied that that made no sense to me in that they have my credit card info. and order number, I have a HD online account, etc., and with the current Covid-19 situation we, as "senior citizens", are trying to abide by our local Shelter-in-Place order and avoid going to stores.

We'll see how they respond (so far this has all been done via email) but they're not making me happy right now.

Well, we worked it out, sort of. Corp. HD is adamant that they are unable to process the credit and I have to deal with the store. I called the store in hopes that it could be done over the phone. They said no but the nice lady in Customer Service said to just make a note of our conversation and I can come in whenever everything settles down and get the adjustment then.

Everybody, including HD, has plenty of other things to worry about right now, so fair enough.

I would say, get it in writing.
