The blower died on me after running for about 10 seconds this morning. I tried the other 2 batteries I own (4ah/2ah) and the unit still doesn't work so I can at least confirm it's not a battery issue.
Seeing the number of people on these boards who've experienced the exact same problem as me with this blower suddenly breaking, isn't making me feel any better about the situation...
I've emailed tech-support and am awaiting their reply.
Live in Toronto, Canada. Purchased this unit out in Kitchener, Ontario when I was out there doing some work.
I sincerely hope I don't have to drive all the way out there again to return this item. I still have the receipt, but no longer have the original box. The long drive in this horrible, snowy weather isn't very appealing to me either.
Hoping my Ego chainsaw lasts longer than this. Purchased that in October, 2014 but never got a chance to use it. Guess I will find out if that works, this spring.
Hopefully Ego will stand behind their product and resolve the problem quickly and without headach...
