Saw these two a week ago on Amazon and placed an order, and Amazon just provided these ESTIMATED delivery dates:

  "EGO Power+ AH1500 15" Rapid Reload Trimmer Head for POWER+ 56V 15" String Trimmer ST1500F/ST1500SF"
    Estimated arrival date: March 16, 2017 - March 22, 2017

"EGO Power+ AB2101 21" Lawn Mower High Lift Blade for POWER+ 56V Lawn Mower Models LM2100/LM2100SP/LM2101/LM2102SP"
    Estimated arrival date: April 25, 2017 - May 01, 2017

They have the blower attachment too (but I didn't order one).

Given the amount it is taking Ego to make the 21" blade available in the US, I'd suggest that you buy a hack saw.

I already have my Milwaukee 5" grinder with 1/16" cut off wheel standing by to nip 1/2" from each end of that blade, for installation into my 20" mower. :)

We sell directly with Amazon. There are also third party sellers though. Make sure the tool you purchase is sold by Amazon and not a third party to ensure you are getting the correct item.

The 21" designation is not accurate.  Measure the "21" blade.   Even measure the underside of the deck of the "21" mower.  You won't find either one equals 21".  Deceptive advertising or alternate-universe measurements?

I think it's cm to inches, and then rounded up. . Easier to say 21 than 20.4" mower.

And, screw this ridiculous waiting, I'm calling this place Monday to be sure it will fit my 21"SP and ordering there - I'll either get it quicker from the UK or like other things in life, as soon as I order it it will make the US model appear - then you can all thank me for that - LOL

The release date for the high lift 21" blade that I pre-ordered from Amazon has a "release date" of April 20th, which has not changed since I placed the order.  Amazon's release date for the AH1500 RR head was pretty accurate, so I don't see why the 21" blade would be different.  Could it slip; sure!  Will it be the end of the world, not likely... could it possibly fix a lot of dissatisfied 21" (and 20") mower owners; maybe.

Based on Ego getting blasted for posting a target release date, and then having it slip.  I would think the average consumer will be able to conclude that Ego is not likely to provide future delivery estimates for future products.  Which is too bad, as I like having the ability to see what's coming down the pipe, and then evaluating my options accordingly.

The Multi-Tool Power Head is a good example, we knew about that one having a release date in 2017 probably a year ago.  Is Ego doing it perfect, of course not, but they are doing a pretty good job.

Got an update email from Amazon for the AB2101, "Friday, May 5, 2017 - Wednesday, May 10, 2017 "

And now the status is: "Shipping TODAY" (which usually means tomorrow, Thursday), and if they expedite ship, it might be here Friday, 5/5.

Just in time for it's date with the Milwauke M18 Fuel 5" grinder w/ cut-off wheel... or since there is so much strife about Ego withholding millimeters off the blade length, then maybe the 21" will drop right into the 20"... =)

This isn't making a lot of sense. I got my notice that it is to arrive on Sat. So why is Amazon shipping, but EGO has not yet announced the blade's availability, or at least I haven't seen it on this blog. I'll believe it when I see the CORRECT blade arrive. It wouldn't be the first thing that Amazon has screwed up.

Wow, Harry. Name calling? Not even cool.

(a)TE, Amazon seems to be having some supply chain problems lately. A friend has a book coming out in a couple of months and Amazon recently released "early" copies that weren't supposed to release. They had typos, among other editing problems in them, but people now have those copies in their hands. Fortunately most who ended up with those copies are friends of the author so won't be upset that they received these particular copies. However, I can imagine some who aren't friends may have got one and might be a bit upset about it. So, I'm thinking there is definitely a supply chain problem going on.

Bloomz - I would think the difference is
Accepted = you are  wrong,  it doesn't work like that, this is better, this product stinks
Not accepted = you're dumb, that is a stupid idea

You can disagree and/or be critical without attacking a person
