There's lots of discussion and lots of recommendations on here about the high lift blade. Do a search and you'll find them.
Better yet...break out the wallet and just buy one... It's only $20 on a mower I paid 600 for. And it changed my world.
So I don't know how many times this question has to be answered. Just buy and find out for yourself.
If it doesn't rock your world like a did mine return it.
$20.....SRSLY
If you can afford an expensive mower like this you can certainly afford another $20.
I'm blue in the face from recommending it

Totally agree, just try the high lift blade. My wife loved the results. If she didn't, I would have just returned it.

I think the argument, and it's a valid one, if one spends $600 for a premium mower one should get premium performance without spending more. I do agree, however, that if the type of grass one has requires the use of a high lift blade it's probably a good idea to get one. Not everyone needs one, I certainly don't. Not everyone feels they should have to buy one after spending a pretty good sum of money for a premium tool that doesn't work for them and now they are told to go spend more, $20 or not. But, there are lots of blades available, mulching, dethatching, for various SOB mowers so yeah, spending a bit more to improve performance could be good. But, I get the sentiment that spending that sort of money should result in a tool that meets expectations right out of the box. One can only then improve from there.

If more people took the time to read the suggested conversations instead of starting a new one, we’d see WAY less new conversations started about topics that have been beaten to death over and over...

Laziness.
