After installing the nylon line with the green marks lined up, do I need to turn the head to a locked position for it to operate or do the green lines remain lined up? for it to operate correctly

Watched the videos, but no last step after winding the line was indicated, needed to ask.

Weird

Video i saw was easy...maybe not that one. Start with 14' of line, twist anticlockwise, etc...it works really well.

Harryo, there's no need to align the marks once the string has been wound into the spool. Just wind it until there's about the correct amount left sticking out of the spool and you're good to go! :-)

Thanks, what I have found is, with an empty head, lining the green marks up, and feeding the line through, matching the line in the middle, then turning the head counter-clock wise, will load the head corrctly. As the head spins counter-clock wise it will force the line out in use. If you load clock-wise, it works against itself and won't spin the line out due to friction. No need to adjust the alignment of the green lines after installing the line, as you indicated, just leave aligned, as the head will engage whatever is necessary to work after turned on. Thank you for your input.

Thanks so much for the instructions. That I was unable to figure that out by myself makes me feel like an utter oaf.

'I've been very, very impressed with your company.

Many thanks.
