I think it was over a year ago I pointed out the pricing defect in the 575 blower, and here where are and it still has it. The 580 tool costs $20 more, but the 575 kit costs $50 more! Should have been fixed a year ago.
So those with experience with the two, the 575 controls preferred? I would imagine the CFM difference isn’t worth mentioning.

I haven’t used the 580, but it brings back the Turbo button and has a much lower low speed than the 575, which is about the only negative thing I have to say about it (the low speed of the 575 is pretty powerful).

On the other hand, the 580 and 575 kits are the same price on RCPW. I really hope you save a 575 for me there, I have plans on buying another one. Also, when you say $20 more, $20 more than what? At HD, the price difference between the 575 and 580 units is $50.

Why does the 580 cost only $299 blower, battery and charger while 575 costs $375 for same things?

Perhaps Home Depot wants to sell more of the 580 blowers since the 575 is being discontinued.
Having said that, sometimes Home Depot's pricing doesn't make sense.

We have found many instances of HD pricing and logic butting heads. The prices should be the same or close to it.

I brought this up with ego over a year ago. They could have gotten it fixed, but I don’t think they cared enough. The 575 package has never been priced correctly.

Same with the power head with bare edger at $129. Crazy good deal. Oh well our gain is our gain. I won’t complain. Lol. Steve
