After using my trimmer today the battery started flashing green and won't stop. Putting it on the charger does nothing.

Official Response
Randy, the flashing green light is a known issue affecting some batteries. The light will continue to flash until the battery is depleted.

Get in touch with Ego Customer Service and they'll get you fixed up. Try calling early in the day to avoid long hold times.

Mine that had a battery failure was ST1502SF. Just seems like many battery failures on the string trimmers,

I have the same issue with a pair of 2.5 Ah batteries that have both been used with the ST1502 as well.  Green blinking light of death.
