Recently bought the snowblower and 20" lawn mower. When checking to see if they start, I noticed that the lawn mower only had 3 metal prongs that inserted into the battery, where the snowblower had 4 metal prongs. The lawn mower still started, but I just want to know if the lawn mower is supposed to have 4 prongs that enter the battery.

Mowers only have 3 prongs inside. Don’t know why but it’s normal

The mower doesn't monitor the battery temperature. The snowblower does. That's why 3 vs 4
