I ordered a 20" high lift blade from HD. The holes in the blade don't line up with the pegs on the mower. What the he'll? Anyone else have this problem or is it me?
Which 20-inch mower do you have? The 20-inch high lift blade is specifically designed for the older LM2000 and LM2001 models. It is not designed for the LM2020 or LM2021 steel deck mowers. This is reflected in the product description at HomeDepot.com: "For use with EGO POWER+ 56-Volt lithium-ion cordless lawn mowers LM2000/LM2001 models."
I mulch but do tend to cut on the high side, I've been having quite a few stray grass blades so I'm going to try the high lift blade even though it's made more for bagging leaves. It does provide better suction correct? I have the LM2102SP and live in Ohio. This is my last ditch effort to get a better cut, if not im returning and switching to a honda.
Guess what? I ordered another blade and Home Depot sent me the wrong one AGAIN (2nd time). They are friggin' idiots. I've also called EGO regarding a different matter with Home Depot. I opted to get a call back LAST WEEK after an extensive hold, and never got one. I've been on hold today for 30 minutes. Is their customer service slipping or is their product slipping?
I have an LM2100SP, and I got the high lift blade. It fits mine just fine, but it is definitely NOT high lift. I can't tell any better lift than the stock blade it came with. I have a lawn of Bermuda and St. Augustine grass. I constantly have to go over the yard multiple times to get the top runners cut. I am very disappointed in the cut of this mower. Wish I had taken it back right away. But it's too late now. I wish I could find an after-market high-lift blade that would actually produce high lift. Even if I had to get a second battery because the higher lift blade drained the battery faster. Not sure what to do now but try to sell it and go back to gas.
