When I last posted an update I was in the hundreds of lawns trimmed so far....now must be getting closer to a thousand. With green up happening where I live I have switched to the 5.0 battery but other than that normal bump feed head running .105 twisted line. Major benefits over gas trimmers continue to be low noise, low vibration, no carb issues, that green feeling and no sh':y California gas. This will last forever for a homeowner with a normal city lot.

Thanks for the update and terrific feedback! How is the line working out for you? We usually recommend using 0.095"squared line.

Curious about the .105” line as well!

I started off using .095 vortex line and them about a 100 feet ago switched to .105 and with the regular bump feed head no problem.....a little harder to load on the speedfeed head but it still works fine.

Hi Bigfoot,
Thanks for the update,
How much runtime are you getting with the 5.0 battery?
Do you recharge in the field, or have multiple batteries?
Thanks, Bob

I get around 40 min runtime right now with spring green up. Usually running pretty heavy throttle. I have a bunch of batteries of all sizes plus I have several customers that let me plug in a charger . My better half runs a truck on the small stuff and I pull a trailer....both trucks running ego handhelds.
